The 3M Speedglas G5-01 Heavy-Duty Welding Helmet with 3M Adflo PAPR Assembly is built for demanding fabrication, maintenance, metalworking and production welding environments. This USA-focused kit uses the current 3M part number 46-1101-30VC and pairs the G5-01 heavy-duty helmet with the G5-01/03VC variable color auto-darkening filter and the Adflo turbo assembly with lithium-ion battery.
The system is designed for industrial and occupational use by trained workers. 3M states the G5-01 Adflo system is NIOSH approved and provides an Assigned Protection Factor of 25 in the standard helmet assembly, and up to 1000 APF with the optional kit when used in approved configurations.
